Have you called the City?It can be your first Microaction? I was just up in Philadelphia and on a lot of corners I could find recycling bins next to regular garbage bins. Its was a hole movement now that I can remember.

Yeah, we basically make these cans (Seen in photo), that can be attached to most trash cans. They can be installed either by a township (which takes a bit more time), or just by concerned citizens in a town with no recycling option, as sort of a kick in the butt to the township.

If your town does not have recycling, and you would like us to build 10 of these, and ship them over to you, simple email Info@RecycleRing.org

Mike - loving how your actionplatform looks and Margaret, thrilled that you're connecting with Mike around the same goal - we are all about creating micro-models that can be replicated and scaled everywhere :)

great to connect Margaret. My vision is definitely global. And I am just one small part in a bigger wheel to reduce our use (and in my case landfilling) of plastics.

Hi Mike I just heard Cindy speak today at ANA as was inspired to post my wish for the world. My intention is to help people in Jaipur, India get into the lifestyle of recycling plastic in particular, garbage in general. IYou are probably thinking of this effort in terms of the US - but I think there is a bigger opportunity - so right now my action is just to connect with like minded people My best wishes Margaret Manning

Here is a photo of the recycling cans (that attach to a garbage can). Turning a normal trash can into a recycling can as well, for under $10. Want a few for your town? Just ask.

Thank you so much for your support Jason. I started this "movement" about a year ago after i had that same pain while throwing two poland spring bottles in a trash can (as it was the only option)...and I said to myself, in a town like Hoboken, NJ it is unexcusable that we do not have recycling on the corner. And it has been my mission to bring recycling to lots of street corners across america. If you know a street corner in your town that could use one, let me know I will help you get a few installed. thats the only way a movement gets started!

This is very cool! I get annoyed often when I end up tossing cans and bottles in the trash. Definitely checking out your site.
