planned obsolescence is a system where there is a difference of information beetween the seller / provider who knows how long the product is designed to last and the buyer who thinks that the product will last a lot more than planned. by collecting informations on items (name, reference, brand...) it will be possible to create an information database on products. When you insert in this database the start time and the end of support of the product, at the end you get informations that help us to identify which sellers / providers make products last... And durability can become a criteria when you buy... The goal is not to prevent you to buy the iphone 5 or else. But honestly who wants to buy a fridge that lasts 2 years ?...
