In 2011 we launched One Dollar Day, asked everyone to donate just $1 on one day, and with the funds collected built a village health clinic in Laos serving over 5,000 children with essential health care. In 2012 we held our second 1$day, and with the funds collected are building water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in a school in Ethiopia, and supporting school attendance for Aboriginal kids in Australia. All from just $1, from everyone. We need to grow this simple action into a global campaign to change the inequities in children's health and education.
